Responsibilities
- Drive technical projects and contributions for Knowledge Catalog engineering and operational excellence.
- Design and implement features and components for large-scale data sharing and secure, low-trust clean-room capabilities.
- Coach and mentor a team of Software Engineers.
- Collaborate with engineering managers, product managers, and technical program managers on product roadmaps and project execution.
- Design and implement tests and experiments to evaluate and monitor system performance.
- Work across distributed teams and with customers to resolve blocking issues and deliver solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Preferred experience with Java, C/C++, or Go.
- Strong knowledge of data warehouses, Big Data, SQL, and data governance.
- Expert-level skills developing Cloud or SaaS products.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
