Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance the T Cloud Public public cloud platform.
- Solve complex operational problems in a hyper-scale cloud backend.
- Work hands-on with hardware, consoles, cloud infrastructure, and network services.
- Develop and operate monitoring and quality assurance solutions.
- Automate infrastructure using common automation frameworks.
- Participate in on-call duties and independently troubleshoot incidents within the defined area of expertise.
- Assess technical solutions and develop creative approaches in a collaborative specialist team.
Requirements
- Completed studies in a technical, engineering, or scientific subject, or comparable professional training.
- 5–7 years of professional IT experience focused on modern cloud technologies.
- Very good knowledge of software-defined networks, routing, firewalls, and physical networks.
- Extensive knowledge of infrastructure automation.
- Strong experience with Linux and network-related services.
- Customer-focused approach and knowledge of agile development processes.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- OpenStack experience and programming experience in open-source projects are advantageous.
- Ability to work within the European Union to meet customer data-security and privacy requirements.
