Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases for Momentum Financials across multiple environments.
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and design documents to develop and maintain test cases and scripts.
- Validate end-to-end federal financial processes, including GL, AP, AR, Budget Execution, and Procure-to-Pay.
- Perform regression testing after enhancements, defect fixes, and releases.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects in collaboration with developers and functional teams.
- Collaborate with functional leads, developers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Support the Independent Verification & Validation team, test planning, and test readiness reviews.
- Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects while complying with VA quality assurance standards.
- Contribute to improvements in testing processes, templates, and standards.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Experience with Momentum Financials is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a customer support or testing role focused on functional and regression testing.
- Understanding of the software testing lifecycle, testing methodologies, and defect management processes.
- Experience developing and executing test cases from business and functional requirements.
- Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or ALM.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and validate system behavior against requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, defect identification, documentation, and communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include federal financial management knowledge, IV&V experience, exposure to automated testing tools, Agile sprint participation, and configuration or release management knowledge.
