Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, integrate, and maintain firmware for eHDD storage products.
- Implement data structures, software algorithms, data paths, and drivers for hardware cores using C++ and Python.
- Participate in hardware bring-up and embedded firmware development across hardware and software platforms.
- Collaborate on solutions involving servers, RAID, Windows, and Linux.
- Plan and coordinate technical investigations, and create firmware design documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer or Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of C/C++, object-oriented programming, Python, data structures, and algorithms.
- Familiarity with microcontroller architecture such as ARM or ARC, embedded systems, and RTOS is preferred.
- Knowledge of SAS, SATA, and PCIe is preferred.
- Experience with bus analyzers, emulators, and firmware debugging tools is a plus.
- Machine learning or other data analytics skills are preferred.
