Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, integrate, and maintain firmware for enterprise HDD products.
- Implement data structures, software algorithms, data paths, and drivers for hardware cores using C++ and Python.
- Participate in hardware bring-up and embedded firmware development within Scrum and Agile teams.
- Collaborate on solutions spanning hardware, servers, RAID, Windows, and Linux.
- Plan and coordinate technical investigations from problem statements through conclusions.
- Create design documentation for firmware development phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of C/C++, object-oriented programming, Python, data structures, and algorithms.
- Ability to quickly learn new firmware, hardware, systems, tools, and methodologies.
- Familiarity with ARM or ARC microcontroller architecture, embedded systems, and RTOS is preferred.
- Knowledge of SAS, SATA, and PCIe interfaces is preferred.
- Experience with bus analyzers, emulators, and firmware debugging tools is a plus.
- Data analytics skills such as machine learning and experience with Scrum or Agile practices are additional advantages.
