Base Salary
$128k - $176k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-wide event-driven, process, and data integration solutions using Apache Kafka, Camel-K, and Kafka Connect.
- Collaborate with external partners supporting integration platforms to ensure reliable operations and business alignment.
- Define integration requirements with cross-functional teams and ensure smooth data flow across systems and applications.
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues and maintain high availability and performance of integration workflows.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to improve the enterprise integration landscape.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership in integration and cloud architecture.
Requirements
- 15+ years of software engineering experience covering Java, Spring Boot, Go, and Python.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of GKE, Knative, Google Cloud Platform services including VPC Service Controls and Secret Manager, and open-source tools for hybrid environments.
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes in production.
- Proficiency with security technologies and practices including mutual TLS, ACLs, NetworkPolicies, encryption, and secure file transfers.
- Experience with observability tools including GMP, Grafana, and Alertmanager.
- Experience designing scalable microservices-based integration architectures, using Docker and Kubernetes, and working with API management, message queues, and event-driven architectures.
- Preferred experience transitioning legacy platforms to cloud-native architectures, using Google Cloud Platform, and applying DevOps practices such as CI/CD and infrastructure as code with Terraform and Helm.
