Base Salary
$150k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead efforts for ambiguous technical projects to evolve and scale early-stage products.
- Design, build, and maintain APIs and user-facing experiences.
- Make tradeoffs between business priorities, user experience, and reliability.
- Work on frontend, backend, and platform projects from design to production ops.
- Push architecture that scales to billions in annual payment volume.
- Collaborate with product and GTM leads to solve ambiguous problems with code.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building B2B or B2C SaaS products, preferably in FinTech or payments.
- Ability to thrive in a zero-bureaucracy, high-ownership environment.
- Balance speed with rigor, including automated tests and clear documentation.
- Participate in architecture discussions and dive deep into code, familiar with React, Ruby, and Postgres.
- Strong communication skills across time zones.
- In-office presence required 4 days a week in San Francisco Bay Area or New York.
