Responsibilities
- Develop, test, validate, and hand over Cell Voltage Monitoring software.
- Develop and support turbine Variable Guide Vane control strategies and air-module validation activities.
- Write, debug, and optimize software in C and support control algorithms developed in Simulink.
- Support component, subsystem, bench, laboratory, and test-rig testing activities.
- Investigate controller behavior and software performance issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Capture, analyze, elaborate, manage, and trace software requirements through development and testing.
- Generate software lifecycle documentation and process deliverables.
- Manage DFMEA actions and derive software requirements from engineering risk assessments.
- Collaborate with systems, controls, software, and test engineers to deliver validated solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
- Three to nine years of experience in embedded, control-system, software, controls, or systems engineering environments.
- Proficiency in C programming and software debugging.
- Experience with control algorithms and Simulink models.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, verification, validation, and integration processes.
- Experience supporting test rigs, bench testing, or laboratory-based engineering programmes.
- Ability to manage and trace software requirements through development and testing.
- Strong problem-solving, root-cause investigation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Desirable experience includes Cell Voltage Monitoring systems, DFMEA, requirements derivation, flow measurement systems, control valves, model-based development, clean energy, automotive, aerospace, industrial engineering, hardware-in-the-loop, or bench validation.
