Responsibilities
- Develop, test, validate, and hand over Cell Voltage Monitoring software.
- Develop, validate, and support turbine Variable Guide Vane control strategies and air-module systems.
- Write, debug, and optimise software in C and support control algorithms developed in Simulink.
- Support component, subsystem, bench, laboratory, and test-rig validation activities.
- Capture, analyse, elaborate, derive, and trace software requirements through development and testing.
- Investigate controller behaviour and software performance issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Generate software lifecycle documentation and manage DFMEA actions.
Requirements
- Experience developing embedded or control-system software in a software, controls, or systems engineering environment.
- Proficiency in C programming, software debugging, testing, validation, and integration.
- Experience with control algorithms, Simulink models, software verification, and software development lifecycle processes.
- Experience supporting test rigs, bench testing, or laboratory-based engineering programmes.
- Ability to manage and trace software requirements and communicate with stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, or equivalent military experience.
- Desirable experience includes Cell Voltage Monitoring, DFMEA, flow measurement systems, control valves, model-based development, clean energy, automotive, aerospace, industrial engineering, HIL, or bench validation.
