Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Build and integrate APIs that expose statistical models and machine learning solutions.
- Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to operationalize models in production.
- Integrate backend services with Azure cloud components.
- Design and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Develop reusable and maintainable code following best practices.
- Optimize application performance for high-volume data processing.
- Implement automated testing using pytest.
- Collaborate with front end developers for seamless integration.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Work with ML flow and MLOps frameworks for model management.
- Participate in code reviews and architecture planning.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and API specifications.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Python and FastAPI framework.
- Experience in REST API design and Pydantic models.
- Knowledge of async programming and modular implementation.
- Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and API security.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Git versioning.
- Understanding of Agile delivery and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Azure cloud, Databricks, and Delta Lake.
- Background in data science model basics.
