Base Salary
$99k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect scalable networks, computing platforms, and enterprise AI systems for modern AI workloads.
- Design low-latency data pipelines and configure distributed compute clusters for model inference and training.
- Integrate LLMs with legacy architectures, APIs, and enterprise systems.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and optimize network throughput, security, reliability, and data governance.
- Establish MLOps and LLMOps best practices and help scale intelligent systems across client environments.
- Collaborate with data scientists, systems engineers, client stakeholders, and cross-functional technical teams.
- Translate client requirements into scalable system designs and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software development or systems engineering building, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications.
- 5+ years of experience supporting offensive or defensive cyber operations roles.
- Experience integrating AI and LLMs into legacy architectures, APIs, and enterprise systems.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, containerization, orchestration, and cluster management.
- Knowledge of zero-trust architecture, secure API gateways, data governance, cloud infrastructure, network engineering, low-latency protocols, system security, and AI data pipelines.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure optimized for AI/ML and distributed processing.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Preferred experience includes MLflow, Kubeflow, GitLab CI, MLOps/LLMOps, CI/CD pipelines, and high-performance networking, software, and hardware.
- A master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Systems Engineering is preferred.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or CKA.
