Base Salary

$113k - $238k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain scalable, highly available RKE2/Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Helm.
  • Develop automation for scaling, testing, securing, and operating Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
  • Create and manage Helm charts across multiple environments.
  • Build hardened, STIG-compliant Docker images and integrate them with Harbor and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Operate and scale Kubernetes clusters, including scheduling, networking, secrets management, RBAC, troubleshooting, and lifecycle operations.
  • Administer Harbor and Nexus and integrate them with delivery pipelines.
  • Integrate Trivy and SonarQube into pipelines and remediate security findings.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure, cluster performance, and resource utilization.
  • Write Python and Bash scripts for infrastructure lifecycle management and toil reduction.
  • Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.

Requirements

  • Current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
  • At least 3 years of DevOps, infrastructure, or DevSecOps experience in a cloud environment is required; 6+ years is identified for senior-level qualification.
  • Advanced Python and/or Bash scripting skills are required.
  • Strong Linux/Unix command-line proficiency, preferably with RHEL-based systems, is required.
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Helm, Docker, and Kubernetes is required.
  • Experience must include Kubernetes cluster operations, workload management, RBAC, networking, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with AWS, Terraform, RKE2 or other enterprise Kubernetes distributions, and restricted or air-gapped environments is desired.
  • Familiarity with Harbor, Nexus, Trivy, SonarQube, Cilium, Packer, or Ansible is desired.
  • Relevant certifications such as CKA, CKAD, CKS, AWS DevOps Professional, or CompTIA Security+ are desired.
  • Applicants should be able to work effectively in a distributed team and travel as required.
