Base Salary
$113k - $238k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, scale, and troubleshoot highly available RKE2/Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Helm.
- Author and manage Helm charts and deploy applications and infrastructure across multiple environments.
- Build hardened, STIG-compliant Docker images and integrate them with Harbor and CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage Kubernetes scheduling, networking, RBAC, secrets, and cluster lifecycle operations.
- Administer Harbor and Nexus repositories and ensure their availability, security, and pipeline integration.
- Integrate Trivy and SonarQube security scanning into pipelines and coordinate remediation of findings.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure, cluster performance, and resource utilization.
- Develop Python and Bash automation scripts and maintain documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
Requirements
- Current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
- At least 3 years of DevOps, infrastructure, or DevSecOps experience in a cloud environment is required; 6+ years is identified for senior-level qualification.
- Advanced Python and/or Bash scripting, strong Linux/Unix command-line skills, and experience with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Helm, Docker, and Kubernetes are required.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS, Terraform, RKE2 or other enterprise Kubernetes distributions, Harbor, Nexus, Trivy, SonarQube, Cilium, Packer, Ansible, and relevant professional certifications.
- Candidates should be able to work effectively in a distributed team and travel as required.
