Base Salary
$146k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development, documentation, maintenance, and improvement of standardized DevSecOps processes, tools, performance metrics, and software delivery pipelines.
- Automate, monitor, troubleshoot, and improve software development, tooling, testing, integration, deployment, configuration, and security-control processes.
- Build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure software development pipelines with cross-functional teams.
- Deploy and configure integrated DevSecOps software engineering environments across development, test, and production environments.
- Develop automation supporting software builds and releases, automated testing, metrics generation, vulnerability scanning, and quality scanning.
- Provide technical support for Application Security, IT, customer security requirements, server upgrades and patches, databases, and virtual environments.
- Manage software dependencies, including evaluation, acquisition, licensing, integration, and maintenance.
- Support operating-system, infrastructure, and platform hardening against cybersecurity threats.
- Advise software engineering management and program leadership on process adherence and implementation strategies.
- Lead DevSecOps training for software engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent education as stated in the posting.
- At least 5 years of experience in the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, integration, and testing.
- At least 5 years of experience leading software teams and/or projects.
- At least 5 years of experience with DevOps and/or DevSecOps.
- At least 5 years of experience with test automation.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous development using code versioning, build automation, and test automation tools.
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
- U.S. Person status is required for export-control compliance.
- Preferred qualifications include satellite software experience, GitLab proficiency, containerization and orchestration experience, build automation, configuration management, deployment, and Risk Management Framework security-control experience.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant Bachelor of Science degree with 9+ years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree with 13+ years of directly related experience, or 17+ years of related experience.
- Security+ or equivalent certification, software development leadership experience, and familiarity with modern software development languages, tools, techniques, and methodologies are preferred.
- Candidates must complete the required CodeVue technical assessment and satisfy Boeing’s Conflict of Interest assessment process.

- Summary base pay range is USD $146,200-$197,800 annually.
