Base Salary
$114k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Stand up a large-scale software factory used by software teams.
- Integrate and automate systems supporting continuous build, continuous integration, continuous test, and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with Software IPTs, chief engineers, and development teams across multiple programs.
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems while ensuring software standards are met.
- Work onsite in San Diego or El Segundo, California, with travel of up to 25% as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related engineering experience, or a master’s degree and 3 years, or a PhD and 1 year.
- Experience with containers and container orchestration using Docker or Kubernetes, including scalability best practices.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Ant, Bamboo, Chef, GitLab, Jenkins, and Maven.
- Software development experience using Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, or another modern object-oriented language across the software life cycle.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance and Special Access Program access through the required PAR process.
- Preferred qualifications include virtualization, Linux/Unix/Windows administration, Atlassian tools, Maven and Nexus build automation, formal DoD builds, VMware infrastructure and automation, Azure, AWS, and VMware or Cisco certification.
- Active Top Secret and current SAP clearances are preferred.
