Base Salary
$175k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design Crucible’s cloud platform, infrastructure services, networking, and deployment patterns.
- Build and operate Kubernetes, cloud services, networking, and infrastructure across development and production environments.
- Develop and evolve Terraform, Helm, and GitOps workflows.
- Design secure cloud controls covering identity, access, network boundaries, and secrets.
- Improve deployment processes, environments, tooling, and development workflows across infrastructure and application repositories.
- Build observability, recovery, deployment safety, and operational tooling for reliable production operations.
- Extend the platform across commercial cloud, GovCloud, on-premise, and disconnected environments.
Requirements
- 6+ years of cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE experience with production systems.
- Deep experience designing cloud architectures and operating production cloud environments.
- Deep production Kubernetes experience.
- Strong Terraform and infrastructure-as-code fundamentals.
- Strong cloud networking, Linux, identity, and security fundamentals.
- Experience building CI/CD, deployment, and GitOps systems.
- Experience with production observability and debugging distributed systems.
- Strong software engineering or scripting skills across application and infrastructure code.
- Ability to design cloud solutions from ambiguous product and engineering requirements.
- U.S. person status is required due to ITAR regulations.
- Preferred: experience with AWS and AWS GovCloud, Helm, Argo CD, Istio, secure multi-account or multi-environment architectures, IAM, OIDC/OAuth2, secrets management, PKI, workload identity, containerized on-premise or air-gapped deployments, and early or rapidly scaling software platforms.
