Base Salary
$108k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Integrate, automate, configure, and document software and tools supporting the Infrastructure and Platform Services product team.
- Support software deployments, cloud infrastructure baselines, and production-system availability.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform or Ansible to automate resource provisioning and scaling.
- Analyze systems, document functions, and define interfaces for integration, testing, and quality assurance.
- Manage and optimize GitLab-based CI/CD pipelines, including configuration, troubleshooting, and workflow integration.
- Maintain Jira work items and service desk tickets while participating in SAFe Agile scrum meetings and planning activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, in research, design, testing, and development of computer or network software or specialized utility programs.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field such as engineering, mathematics, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, information technology, or information systems.
- Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance.
- At least 3 years of experience using DevSecOps methods and tools such as CI/CD, GitLab, and Docker, along with configuration management on complex software projects.
- Expertise managing Linux-based infrastructure and experience with Windows PCs, Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory, group policies, user management, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience across the software development lifecycle and with DevOps automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or BMC.
- Experience with container orchestration using Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, or AWS EKS, ECS, or ECR.
- Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher.
- Ability to travel 25%, including possible underway periods aboard U.S. Navy ships.
- Preferred qualifications include Dell Windows server, NetApp storage, VMware virtualization, U.S. Navy COMPOSE, ISNS, or CANES environments, basic networking, DCGS-N or C4ISR program support, and programming or scripting in Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, Ruby, PHP, and Bash.
