Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, customize, and deploy agentic AI solutions and experiences in enterprise customer environments.
- Design prompts, reasoning flows, tool calls, and integrations with customer systems.
- Own technical components from architecture selection through production deployment, validation, and observability.
- Build and integrate data pipelines using Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
- Create agent-performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting to track deployment health and business outcomes.
- Contribute to proofs of concept and MVPs, co-build with customers and partners, and share implementation best practices.
- Identify platform gaps, edge cases, and field insights for senior engineers and product teams.
- Partner with Deployment Strategists to translate customer business challenges into deployable agentic solutions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering or technical delivery experience.
- At least one production system experience, ideally involving AI technology, full-stack development, or frontier models.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Required prior customer-facing technical delivery experience in consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering.
- Fluency in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams and customer architects.
- Ability to produce quality code and evaluate AI outputs with engineering rigor.
- Willingness to experiment with emerging AI tools, models, and frameworks.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce platform experience or certifications, familiarity with LangChain or LlamaIndex, cloud data platform experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery, and experience in data engineering, platform architecture, or headless deployments.
