Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate platforms and services used by engineering teams.
- Administer, evolve, and ensure the reliability of Kubernetes environments and containerized workloads.
- Develop, automate, and maintain AWS solutions using ECS, Lambda, EC2, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, ALB, NLB, DynamoDB, Redis, and VPC.
- Manage and evolve GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions Runners, and JFrog Artifactory.
- Troubleshoot complex incidents in distributed environments and investigate performance, availability, connectivity, and systems-integration issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve software development, delivery, and operational experiences.
- Define and implement observability, monitoring, automation, and security practices.
- Contribute to architecture decisions related to scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Act as a technical reference for resolving complex problems and evolving the platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Solid production experience with Kubernetes, including cluster operation, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Docker and container-based architectures.
- Advanced knowledge and practical experience with AWS platform services.
- Experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code, and scalable infrastructure management.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, development platforms, and software-delivery automation.
- Solid knowledge of Linux, systems administration, and distributed environments.
- Knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancers, firewalls, routing, and VPNs.
- Experience investigating, analyzing, and resolving complex incidents, including root-cause identification.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Experience with Site Reliability Engineering practices, observability, and monitoring is preferred.
- Experience with Grafana, Datadog, OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, and GitHub Runners is preferred.
- Experience administering critical engineering platforms, CI/CD infrastructure, and highly available environments at scale is preferred.
