Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and operate secure, scalable, reusable production AI services for Wholesale use cases.
- Productionise proofs of concept and proofs of value into hardened solutions with defined performance, resilience, cost, security, and service-ownership requirements.
- Build and maintain MLOps and LLMOps pipelines covering packaging, promotion and rollback, model/version management, validation, and lifecycle management.
- Develop reusable libraries, templates, reference architectures, and infrastructure-as-code patterns.
- Implement service observability, model-performance monitoring, quality and drift checks, and actionable alerting.
- Partner with data scientists, data engineers, platform teams, and governance and risk stakeholders on end-to-end delivery, control, auditability, and documentation.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and communicate trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Build and deploy agentic LLM systems with RAG, tool/function calling, orchestration, external API and enterprise-data integrations, guardrails, and evaluation.
- Contribute to code reviews, design reviews, documentation, engineering standards, and team coaching.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience delivering and supporting end-to-end production services rather than only notebooks or experiments.
- Proficiency in Python and modern engineering practices including clean code, testing, packaging, dependency management, and Git-based workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, API-based serving, and batch or stream inference.
- Practical MLOps experience covering ML CI/CD, model packaging, release management, automated validation, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Working knowledge of PyTorch, TensorFlow, and the Python machine-learning ecosystem.
- Experience working with complex, multilayered and imbalanced datasets and integrating data pipelines into AI services.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying web APIs with Flask or FastAPI.
- Proficiency with database technologies such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Experience designing, deploying, and operating production ML or GenAI services in cloud environments, including security, networking, scaling, resilience, and cost management.
- Strong stakeholder communication, organisation, prioritisation, time-management, and delivery skills.
