Responsibilities
- Develop features for forensic playback, investigation tooling, media processing pipelines, and video format analysis.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to understand customer needs and clarify requirements.
- Improve system quality and reliability through code reviews, test automation, and thoughtful engineering practices.
- Work across the stack while learning new technologies and building domain expertise.
- Participate in operational ownership, including on-call support.
- Collaborate with engineers in London, Seattle, and Ho Chi Minh City to deliver capabilities for public safety professionals.
Requirements
- Preferably a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with at least one of TypeScript/React, Python, or C/C++.
- Ability to take ownership, navigate ambiguity, and collaborate to solve challenging problems.
- Curiosity, willingness to learn, and interest in unfamiliar domains and technologies.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain thinking clearly and ask effective questions.
- Interest in or exposure to video, media processing, or digital forensics is desirable.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, is desirable.
