Responsibilities
- Develop features for forensic playback, investigation tooling, media processing pipelines, and video format analysis.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to understand customer needs and clarify requirements.
- Improve system quality and reliability through code reviews, test automation, and sound engineering practices.
- Work across the technology stack while learning new technologies and building forensic intelligence expertise.
- Participate in operational ownership, including on-call support, and collaborate with distributed engineering teams.
Requirements
- Experience with at least one of TypeScript/React, Python, or C/C++.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to take ownership, navigate ambiguity, collaborate effectively, and solve challenging problems.
- Strong communication skills, curiosity, and willingness to learn unfamiliar domains and technologies.
- Interest in or exposure to video, media processing, or digital forensics is desirable.
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, is desirable.
