Responsibilities
- Develop software for spacecraft simulations and environment simulations.
- Integrate software with human-computer interfaces and flight-computer data interfaces.
- Develop and integrate custom software development and integration tools.
- Support NASA human spaceflight programs including Gateway, Orion, and the International Space Station.
- Perform hands-on problem solving and troubleshooting with the engineering team and NASA customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Good working knowledge of C, C++, and Python.
- Strong interest in software development and aptitude for hands-on problem solving and troubleshooting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Citizenship or lawful permanent residency due to the federal position.
