Base Salary
$185k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance analytics, automation, and compliance-focused software solutions.
- Design, implement, deploy, and monitor machine learning models, metrics, data flows, and supporting tools.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis, feature development, model evaluation, and predictive modeling using techniques such as Random Forest.
- Research, integrate, and test emerging ML and AI technologies, including proof-of-concept solutions.
- Build and maintain data processing and analytics workflows in Linux environments.
- Develop software using Python, Java, and/or Scala.
- Work with structured and unstructured data using SQL, JSON, Lucene, and JEXL.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Use version control, development, and collaboration tools to manage code and project workflows.
- Create, maintain, and review technical documentation.
- Ensure solutions align with applicable agency compliance standards, policies, and systems.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, with the most recent polygraph within the last 7 years.
- B.S. in a technical discipline, or 14+ years of experience with a related degree or 18+ years of experience without a degree.
- DoD 8570 IAT II certification.
- Experience with Python, GM Learn, exploratory data analysis, Linux development, Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience building and monitoring machine learning models and developing ML features, including Random Forest.
- Experience with Scikit-learn, Jupyter Notebooks, Java and/or Scala, SQL, JSON, Lucene, and/or JEXL.
- Experience with Git/GitLab and/or Bitbucket/Stash.
- Familiarity with ML data processing and distributed computing technologies such as Ghostmachine (Map/Reduce) and/or Spark.
- Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred background in data science, machine learning, or a related technical discipline.
- Preferred experience implementing ML systems in production environments, AWS, Spark, Large Language Models or Agentic AI, and additional machine learning models and techniques.
- Preferred familiarity with agency compliance standards, policies, and corporate systems.
