Base Salary
$113k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support advanced embedded software systems for aerospace products.
- Provide technical leadership in software architecture, complex problem solving, and cross-functional engineering initiatives.
- Develop cybersecurity roadmaps and assess and mitigate risks across software architecture and build pipelines.
- Apply secure software development practices aligned with DO-178C, DO-326A, DO-356A, and DO-355.
- Support aerospace certification, supply chain assurance, and future program needs.
- Advise management and senior leadership on technology improvements, technical strategy, and best practices.
- Lead medium-to-large or high-risk engineering projects, depending on level.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts.
- Drive technical innovation and product and process improvements.
Requirements
- Staff candidates typically require a four-year bachelor's degree and 10+ years of equivalent experience.
- Senior Staff candidates typically require a four-year bachelor's degree and 12+ years of equivalent experience.
- Experience with DO-178 aerospace development is a plus.
- Demonstrated expertise in software architecture, technical leadership, complex problem solving, project management, strategic planning, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Senior Staff candidates should be able to provide expert guidance, influence senior executives, anticipate industry trends, and direct resources across initiatives.
- Applicants must be U.S. Persons under ITAR/EAR or eligible to obtain all required authorizations.
