
Software Engineer, Simulation

Responsibilities
- Build and scale high-fidelity simulation environments for autonomous construction machines.
- Develop simulation systems supporting ML-based autonomy, evaluation, and safety validation.
- Improve simulation realism and performance to better reflect real-world behavior.
- Help guide strategy for scene generation and neural rendering techniques.
- Write production-quality code and build real simulation content rather than only prototypes.
Requirements
- An engineering, math, or physics degree, or a computer science background with demonstrated strength and interest in math and physics.
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience building modular, maintainable, production-quality software systems in C++.
- At least 2 years of experience with one or more 3D engines or simulation frameworks.
- Experience with advanced 3D simulation software and evaluating systems to improve realism for autonomy stacks.
- Preferred experience with Rust or interest in learning it.
- Preferred robotics simulation experience.
- Preferred experience with neural rendering techniques such as Gaussian splats and NeRFs.
