Responsibilities
- Participate in client conversations from the second call to conduct deeper technical and business discovery.
- Lead the design of scalable, secure, and cost-effective architectures across multiple domains.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business challenges and technical needs.
- Guide cross-functional teams in shaping and validating proposed solutions.
- Partner with account management and sales leadership to define solution approaches.
- Contribute to the team’s sales catalog and reusable reference architectures.
- Assess existing client environments and recommend strategies for improvement.
- Ensure proposed solutions comply with relevant security and governance standards.
- Collaborate with various teams to drive successful outcomes across engagements.
- Stay current with technology trends to inform Toptal’s strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture or related technical fields.
- Broad technical fluency across cloud infrastructure, data analytics, AI/ML, and security.
- Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with AI/ML solutions and cloud migration strategies.
- Solid grasp of networking concepts in cloud environments.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company.
