Responsibilities
- Maintain and extend existing scientific software packages.
- Architect and implement cutting-edge scientific and ML software.
- Ensure stability through testing and adopt current practices.
- Deploy software modules into SandboxAQ’s simulation platform.
- Manage dependencies and integrate software into CI/CD pipelines.
- Define API endpoints and schemas.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to build UI components.
- Maintain and support production deployments of scientific software.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in Python, including numeric and performance libraries.
- Experience with ML libraries like PyTorch.
- Familiarity with development tools such as git and Unix/Linux.
- Experience using LLM tools for secure and maintainable code.
- Ability to write quality code rapidly and manage technical roadmaps.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, diverse team environment.
