Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the MongoDB Documentation Platform.
- Build features that improve the experience for documentation consumers and contributors.
- Develop internal infrastructure, integrations, and applications supporting documentation and learning experiences.
- Improve documentation accessibility, discoverability, user engagement, reliability, and maintainability.
- Contribute to and occasionally lead small-to-medium scoped features and platform improvements with partner teams.
- Analyze user behavior and platform performance to identify gaps and improve platform effectiveness.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience building and maintaining production software systems.
- Hands-on experience with Git, TypeScript, React, Next.js, MDX, and other markup languages.
- Deep understanding of TypeScript or JavaScript, preferably TypeScript.
- Experience with MongoDB or a strong track record working with other databases.
- Experience working on complex, production web applications.
- Ability to write, discuss, and review code collaboratively.
- Understanding of resilient, scalable, and maintainable software development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, curiosity, adaptability, and collaborative thinking.
