Base Salary
$153k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build automated, safe-by-default security tooling, guardrails, and security-as-a-service capabilities for engineering teams.
- Design and implement scalable systems and controls to secure cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with engineering and security teams to deploy security enhancements and cloud control changes.
- Investigate and respond to security events and improve security practices with partner teams.
- Conduct threat modeling, architectural reviews, and security assessments for third-party integrations and emerging AI tools.
- Communicate security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques while guiding and educating development teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a security-related role, including at least 2 years focused on cloud security.
- Expertise securing cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure, with foundational knowledge of Azure and/or GCP services and security features.
- Strong knowledge of AWS IAM, EC2, VPC, ECR, ECS, and EKS, along with Azure services and security.
- Experience with a CNAPP or similar cloud security tool such as Wiz, Orca Security, Lacework, or Upwind.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python or Go, for automation.
- Knowledge of least privilege, defense-in-depth, security monitoring, threat modeling, and architectural review processes.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Preferred experience with GCP, OCI, and multi-cloud networks and infrastructure, especially cloud-agnostic systems.

- Base pay ranges from $153,000 to $171,000, with potential bonuses and restricted stock units excluded from the stated base range.
