Responsibilities
- Define the long-term architectural roadmap for VM and Kubernetes infrastructure on GCP and AWS.
- Lead the modernization of services from monolithic architectures to microservices.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and manage cloud resources.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Compliance, and Security teams on system design.
- Develop observability solutions using Grafana Cloud and Prometheus.
- Manage advanced networking and security components.
- Automate processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for incident response.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 15+ years of progressive infrastructure engineering experience.
- Proven experience in guiding architectural transformations to microservices.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Bash, and Go.
- Expertise in Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform services.
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure management.
- Understanding of network topologies and communication protocols.
- Familiarity with GitOps methodologies and LLM code assist tools.
