Responsibilities
- Own and operate a production GitOps deployment API and CLI built with TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS.
- Maintain and extend self-service deployment tooling using ArgoCD ApplicationSets and Helm for GCP Cloud Run.
- Own the shared TypeScript package ecosystem in an Nx monorepo and maintain the application ingress, edge-routing layer, and related Helm charts.
- Build high-performance Go tools and APIs for infrastructure metadata and lifecycle management.
- Design long-running workflows with durable execution frameworks such as Temporal across Git, cloud providers, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop MCP servers and agentic AI workflows to automate infrastructure configuration creation, upgrades, and auditing.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent, including experience building and operating infrastructure, platform, or delivery systems.
- Strong experience with delivery/GitOps tooling such as ArgoCD, ApplicationSets, Helm, and GitHub Actions, or with backend services and shared libraries at scale.
- Proficiency in Go or TypeScript/JavaScript, with hands-on experience in or willingness to ramp up on the other language.
- Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Kubernetes, serverless runtimes such as GCP Cloud Run or equivalent, and major cloud providers including GCP and AWS.
- Ability to inherit and stabilize unfamiliar production-critical systems while documenting and prioritizing effectively.
- Experience with a deployment platform used by other teams is a bonus.
- Experience with Temporal or similar workflow engines such as Cadence or Airflow is a bonus.
- Proficiency with Terraform and modular, reusable modules is a bonus.
- Practical experience with Agentic AI, MCP, or A2A frameworks is a bonus.
