Responsibilities

  • Build and design the integrated search platform written in Java.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain backend software in a complex codebase.
  • Lead projects and own subsystems from initial design through production maintenance.
  • Help determine the team roadmap and system architecture.
  • Review code and project designs and participate actively in team meetings.
  • Mentor other engineers and collaborate closely with colleagues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, testing, and maintaining industrial-strength backend software in a complex codebase.
  • Proficiency with modern programming languages and techniques.
  • Experience developing distributed systems, cloud services, and SaaS products.
  • Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills.
  • Strong ownership of work from initial design through maintaining production code.
  • Enthusiasm for collaboration, mentoring, learning quickly, and incorporating feedback.
