Responsibilities
- Build and design the integrated search platform written in Java.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend software in a complex codebase.
- Lead projects and own subsystems from initial design through production maintenance.
- Help determine the team roadmap and system architecture.
- Review code and project designs and participate actively in team meetings.
- Mentor other engineers and collaborate closely with colleagues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, testing, and maintaining industrial-strength backend software in a complex codebase.
- Proficiency with modern programming languages and techniques.
- Experience developing distributed systems, cloud services, and SaaS products.
- Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills.
- Strong ownership of work from initial design through maintaining production code.
- Enthusiasm for collaboration, mentoring, learning quickly, and incorporating feedback.
