Responsibilities
- Design and develop mainframe ATM and cash-management applications.
- Create, maintain, review, and troubleshoot quality code throughout development, testing, and post-production deployment.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs and deliverables.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, security teams, and vendor partners to deliver solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for system implementation and maintenance.
- Access and work with large relational database management systems.
- Ensure solutions comply with regulatory requirements and TD security and control standards.
- Identify design gaps or needed redesign, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.
- Participate in code reviews and provide application maintenance and production support.
- Participate in a one-week-per-month on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of development and end-to-end design experience in mainframe technologies.
- 7+ years of experience with JCL, COBOL, DB2, and IMS.
- Hands-on experience with File-Aid, CA7, Endeavor, and ICE tools or comparable development tools and frameworks.
- At least 3 years of production support experience in a batch environment.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Confluence, and Jira.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with technology teams, business teams, and vendor partners.
- Experience in ATM environments is preferred.
- Experience developing solutions that leverage AI technologies is preferred.
