Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain SuiteScript 2.1 solutions and APIs that support core financial operations.
- Architect and monitor integrations between NetSuite and external enterprise systems for reliable data synchronization.
- Maintain stability across NetSuite platform upgrades and third-party API changes.
- Write automated test suites using frameworks such as Jest.
- Manage releases from sandbox to production using Git and the SuiteCloud Development Framework.
- Collaborate with finance and engineering stakeholders to diagnose incidents, implement permanent fixes, and communicate technical updates.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on NetSuite development, customization, and administration experience in production environments.
- Deep proficiency with SuiteScript 2.1, SuiteCloud architecture, governance limits, and complex data querying.
- Experience designing and maintaining REST- or SOAP-based NetSuite integrations.
- Strong JavaScript, automated unit testing, and Git skills.
- Experience deploying NetSuite customizations across multiple environments using SuiteCloud Development Framework or automated pipelines.
- Preferred qualifications include TypeScript build experience, backend development with Go, NetSuite certifications, AI-assisted developer tooling experience, finance or accounting stakeholder experience, and familiarity with distributed web services or microservices.
