Responsibilities
- Architect overall solution designs for warehouse management systems
- Deliver features and customizations within the current WMS and contribute to the next-generation WMS
- Write high-quality code, technical improvements, and automated tests
- Develop integrations connecting the WMS with external services
- Maintain WMS operations for distribution centers and troubleshoot production issues with WMS administrators
- Identify improvement opportunities with operations and technology teams and design features to meet business goals
- Translate business requirements into technical design documents
- Scope and plan projects, collaborate with front-end and back-end developers, conduct code reviews, and provide mentorship
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of C# and .NET frameworks
- Expert experience with SQL database queries and stored procedures
- Experience with object-oriented programming
- Experience with integration technologies such as REST APIs and messaging queues
- Experience writing automated tests and applying clean-code and sound design principles
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Willingness to use modern development tools, including AI-assisted tooling
