Responsibilities
- Develop and support highly scalable, high-performance application components.
- Design reusable code structures and secure server-side services across multiple applications.
- Write clean, readable Java code with automated unit and functional tests.
- Automate development pipeline processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and time to market.
- Collaborate with the software development team and communicate technical information clearly.
- Research and apply new technologies to solve current and future technical challenges.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience with Java, J2EE, Spring, Kafka, REST or microservices, Linux, and SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Experience developing secure server-side services using Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful web services, Apache Data Utilities, Struts 2.0, and SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of messaging and streaming technologies such as MQ and Kafka.
- Hands-on experience writing reusable Java code with unit tests.
- Experience using Git and Maven in a collaborative software development environment.
- Preferred experience with Angular or React, especially Angular; intermediate Python; NodeJS; .NET Core; Hadoop; Spark; cloud and container technologies; and generative AI solutions using Copilot.
- Preferred experience with DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub, automated testing tools, and continuous delivery tooling.
- Ability to multitask effectively and provide timely updates.
