Responsibilities
- Execute engineering strategy through tools and automation for build, test, release, and configuration activities across application, platform, and infrastructure domains.
- Create solution options and comprehensive end-to-end designs while coordinating stakeholders and ensuring alignment with architecture.
- Develop, code, document, and support complex applications and systems throughout the design and development lifecycle.
- Design functional, technical, and user interfaces that meet business, architecture, performance, and development standards.
- Analyze requirements and current environments to recommend optimal software and infrastructure solutions.
- Review technical deliverables, conduct code reviews and Operational Readiness Reviews, and identify quality, redesign, risk, and governance issues.
- Define application metrics and performance goals, monitor services, and implement continuous improvement and automation opportunities.
- Work with architects and technology partners on environment changes, data conversion impacts, performance requirements, and application integrity.
- Mentor team members, share engineering best practices, and provide technical guidance and thought leadership.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree, postgraduate degree, or technical certificate; a graduate degree is nice to have.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong academic background in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Expert knowledge of engineering frameworks, technologies, tools, processes, procedures, and relevant technical environments.
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360), Salesforce Personalization, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Proficiency with Java, JavaScript, React or Angular, SQL, data modelling, and AI.
- Ability to work autonomously as a senior or lead subject matter expert across diverse engineering and operational support activities.
- Strong collaboration, research, analytical, problem-solving, mentoring, and stakeholder-management skills.
