Responsibilities
- Lead Atlassian Cloud transformation strategy, including Jira modernization, migration planning, customization rationalization, integration readiness, stakeholder alignment, and operational adoption.
- Design, develop, maintain, modernize, troubleshoot, and enhance enterprise applications using Java, React, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
- Build and support secure integrations using OAuth, LDAP, authentication frameworks, and enterprise systems.
- Maintain Jira customizations and automation using ScriptRunner, Groovy, REST endpoints, shell scripts, and CLI-based automation.
- Participate in architecture and solution design, code and design reviews, CI/CD initiatives, documentation, change management, and development standards.
- Support production systems, high availability, disaster recovery, backup, resiliency, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Mentor developers and provide technical leadership while collaborating with application development, platform engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of front-end software development experience with Java, React, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
- Strong understanding of OAuth, LDAP, authentication, authorization, application architecture, system design, and software design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Git, Maven or Gradle, CI/CD pipelines, Linux environments, ScriptRunner, Groovy, and automation solutions.
- Experience designing scalable, maintainable, and secure enterprise applications and integrations, including REST APIs.
- Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, enhancing, and supporting production applications, scripts, integrations, and complex technical issues.
- Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, backup, system resiliency, documentation, traceability, and change management practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and Agile software development skills.
- Preferred experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP, Linux infrastructure, networking, load balancers, DNS, SSL/TLS, firewall configurations, Jira administration, platform engineering, application modernization, and PEGA.
