Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deliver, maintain, and improve full-stack business applications across the software development lifecycle.
- Design end-user interfaces, databases, APIs, server-side logic, and front-end and back-end web application components.
- Build reusable and maintainable React components with Redux and develop Node.js and Express applications.
- Develop automated test harnesses, conduct accessibility and software testing, investigate technical risks, and resolve errors and bugs.
- Create system design specifications, prototypes, deployment and maintenance documentation, and other business documentation.
- Participate in code reviews, ideation sessions, brainstorming, and continuous learning and improvement.
- Apply design patterns, automation, semantic versioning, CI/CD methods, API development, DevSecOps, and database design practices.
- Communicate with clients and collaborators and help develop junior engineers and grow organizational talent.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Full-Stack Software Engineer experience.
- Hands-on experience with React, Node.js, Express, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and front-end testing.
- Experience designing reusable, efficient React components with Redux and knowledge of React server-side rendering.
- Strong CSS experience building scalable, mobile-responsive user interfaces.
- Experience building accessible digital products and conducting accessibility testing using standards such as WCAG 2.1.
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps principles, testing-focused development procedures, continuous integration, and techniques for accelerating feature releases.
- Experience communicating with clients and collaborators and articulating technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes.
- Preferred exposure to Adobe Experience Manager, Azure Kubernetes Services or a similar platform, PaaS, microservice architectures, Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, Fortify, and WebInspect.
- Preferred experience developing junior engineers and supporting staff growth.
