Base Salary
$162k - $201k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineers, research scientists, technical program managers, and product managers to deliver AI-powered products.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components.
- Build and operate foundation model training, LLM inference, similarity search, guardrails, model evaluation, experimentation, governance, and observability capabilities.
- Develop state-of-the-art LLM optimization techniques to improve scalability, cost, latency, and throughput.
- Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap for foundational AI systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus at least 3 years of experience developing AI and ML algorithms or technologies, or a master's degree in one of these fields plus at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of programming experience with Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
- Preferred: 4 years of experience deploying scalable and responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms.
- Preferred: experience developing, delivering, and supporting AI services.
- Preferred: experience with LLM inference, similarity search, vector databases, guardrails, memory, and AI/ML technologies using Python, C++, C#, Java, or Golang.
- Preferred: experience optimizing training and inference software for hardware utilization, latency, throughput, and cost.
