Base Salary

$163k - $236k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Grow the AI Infrastructure developer community through programs, events, workshops, and hackathons.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams, external partners, and influencers to extend program reach and promote Google’s platforms.
  • Build and maintain developer resources including documentation, tutorials, and sample code, while answering technical questions.
  • Analyze developer trends and pain points and provide recommendations for the product roadmap.
  • Represent Google at industry events through technical talks, live demos, and other public-facing activities.
  • Write and run training, fine-tuning, reinforcement-learning, and inference workloads on Google accelerators and turn infrastructure findings into developer content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a technical role or equivalent technical experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience running AI/ML workloads, including training, fine-tuning, or inference on GPUs or TPUs with Kubernetes or GKE orchestration.
  • At least 2 years of experience producing developer content such as blogs, short-form videos, podcasts, or live streams.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, GPUs/TPUs, and supporting software drivers is preferred.
  • Experience writing and running model-training, reinforcement-learning, or inference workloads is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Python is preferred; strong object-oriented programming in C++, Java, or another language is acceptable.
  • External technical content, public speaking, open-source work, or the ability to explain complex GPU/TPU workflows is preferred.
  • Background in AI development, including building or training models or integrating generative AI into products, is preferred.

Benefits

  • US base salary of $163000-$236000, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
