
Salesforce Technical Architect, AI and Agentforce

Responsibilities
- Own complete technical solution design for Agentforce-powered experiences, including agent topics, instructions, actions, automation, deployment methods, and supporting data structures.
- Lead Salesforce Data 360 architecture, including data ingestion, DLOs, DMOs, identity resolution, real-time activation, retrievers, and search indexes.
- Define Salesforce integrations with third-party systems and guide solutions from initial design through development, testing, and deployment.
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, mentoring, and standards for Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Agentforce development.
- Define agent testing, evaluation, guardrails, grounding, and Einstein Trust Layer approaches.
- Collaborate directly with customers, project managers, solution architects, developers, designers, and other delivery teammates.
- Contribute reusable delivery assets, follow emerging Salesforce and AI capabilities, maintain applicable Salesforce certifications, and support the Salesforce community.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of application and software development experience and at least 4 years of Salesforce development or technical architecture experience.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Proficiency in Apex and JavaScript, with exposure to Python, Java, or C# and experience with Salesforce Flows, Lightning Web Components, or Visualforce.
- Experience designing and building Agentforce agents, workflows, automations, and Salesforce Data 360 solutions.
- Experience designing Salesforce integrations with third-party systems through APIs and understanding front-end web technologies including HTML and CSS.
- Experience with source control, branching and pull-request strategies, CI/CD solutions, and DevOps principles.
- Preferred qualifications include agentic or generative AI experience, Data 360 retrieval and RAG capabilities, Agentforce Agent Script, relevant Salesforce or Claude certifications, consulting or professional services delivery, additional Salesforce Clouds, telephony platforms, AWS or GCP architecture, AWS Lambda, and Claude Code.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to developers and customer executives.
- Must maintain a valid passport while employed and be able to travel up to 25%.
