Responsibilities
- Build and operate internal developer platform services with a focus on security and scalability.
- Improve pre-production and performance testing capabilities through automation and reporting.
- Explore and integrate AI-assisted workflows for developers, evaluating tools and running experiments.
- Deliver projects collaboratively, including problem framing, design documentation, and implementation.
- Contribute to team culture through mentorship, documentation, and incident response.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related field, with at least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong fundamentals in distributed systems and reliability, with proficiency in a statically typed language and a scripting language.
- Demonstrated ability to independently drive projects from design through rollout.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience mentoring engineers and influencing stakeholders.
- Proven track record of owning services in production or critical pre-prod environments.
