Base Salary
$170k - $278k/yr
Responsibilities
- Specify and build beautiful, consistent, fast, reliable, and thoughtful product features.
- Own and execute end-to-end implementation of new product functionality, with a primary focus on backend development.
- Work across AWS, Node.js, SQL, React, HTML, and CSS to build and maintain end-to-end products.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and data scientists to understand user needs and develop customer-focused solutions.
- Collaborate with and learn from engineers across varied backgrounds and experiences.
Requirements
- Have 4+ years of industry experience with modern full-stack web development, particularly backend feature development.
- Be fluent in one or more backend technologies and interested in programming with JavaScript and React.
- Have an understanding of web technologies and large-scale web application architecture.
- Have a background in computer science or a related field.
- Be based, or willing to be based, in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City.
- Demonstrate product orientation, strong ownership, attention to detail, thoughtful decision-making, and willingness to validate and iterate.
