Base Salary

$122k - $183k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy applications on the Salesforce Platform.
  • Design and operate reliable integrations between Salesforce, Ramp’s internal revenue application, Data, and adjacent business systems.
  • Own data contracts, idempotency, error handling, reconciliation, and safe lifecycle changes for quotes, contracts, and subscriptions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain iPaaS solutions using tools such as Workato and Clay.
  • Drive scalable architecture, tool-usage, and solution-design decisions.
  • Write technical specifications with architecture diagrams, data model diagrams, process flows, and sequence diagrams.
  • Own data integrity and data assumptions within the focused business systems area.
  • Collaborate on code reviews, on-call support, build issues, and ideation.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience working with the Salesforce platform.
  • 5+ years of experience in systems architecture and integrations.
  • Strong Apex and trigger experience, including Salesforce application development with Lightning Web Components, Flows, and asynchronous processing.
  • Working knowledge of Python or other programming languages.
  • Strong API and Salesforce integration experience, including retries, duplicate events, partial failures, and data reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous methods, Streaming API, publish/subscribe patterns, and architectural patterns.
  • Familiarity with the broader GTM stack, including Gong, LeanData, CPQ, and billing systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of data pipelines, CI/CD processes, Salesforce governance limits, and code coverage.
  • Ability to apply unit-testing best practices and code positive and negative scenarios.
  • Experience with CPQ, pricing, contract lifecycle management, billing, subscriptions, or another quote-to-cash domain.
  • Ability to translate complex commercial requirements into simple, durable system behavior with non-engineering teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience thoughtfully using and evaluating AI-assisted development tools.
  • Preferred: experience with Snowflake and dbt.
  • Preferred: Kafka experience.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Agile methodologies.
