Base Salary
$235k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the main Firecrawl repository, including triaging issues, reviewing pull requests, cutting releases, and writing documentation.
- Keep the self-hosting experience easy to clone, run, and maintain.
- Build new context primitives, starting with anydoc, the document parsing engine.
- Define scope and API design for open source primitives.
- Ship code and review pull requests regularly while improving repository quality and adoption.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience.
- A demonstrated open source track record maintaining a popular repository or making significant contributions to one.
- Experience owning a repository end to end, including issue triage, pull request review, releases, and documentation.
- Experience building parsers, crawlers, browser tooling, or developer libraries.
- Understanding of how open source projects gain adoption and spread.
- Strong autonomy and judgment in making scope, API design, and merge decisions.
- Impressive public work or experience as a maintainer, founder, early startup engineer, or builder.
