Base Salary
$225k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship experiments across onboarding, activation, retention, and notifications.
- Architect and scale distributed systems supporting millions of users with high availability and performance.
- Partner with Product Managers and Data Scientists to translate growth hypotheses into technical designs and shippable experiments.
- Mentor and elevate engineers while contributing to the team’s technical direction and engineering culture.
- Balance rapid experimentation with production-grade durability based on feature needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally with consumer-facing or growth-focused products.
- Strong backend and/or full-stack development fundamentals, including experience with technologies such as Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, or React, or equivalent.
- Experience with experimentation platforms such as feature flagging, A/B testing frameworks, or statistical significance tooling.
- Track record of iterative shipping and learning from real user data.
- Ability to collaborate with Product Managers, designers, and Data Scientists and communicate trade-offs clearly.
- Curiosity about why products and experiments succeed or fail.
- Experience with notification systems, acquisition, or user authentication and authorization at scale is a plus.
- Mobile growth experience across iOS or Android alongside web is a plus.
- Familiarity with LLM-powered features or AI-assisted product experiences is a plus.
- Experience in high-growth or rapidly scaling environments is a plus.
