Base Salary
$196k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure systems underpinning Airbnb’s corporate Zero Trust ecosystem.
- Develop the next-generation client platform for Airbnb corporate endpoints using open source products.
- Build and support Zero Trust backend services, security services, network paths, and user and device signaling.
- Support executive-level Airbnb staff with endpoint and identity solutions.
- Optimize endpoint and identity flows in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
- Lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in test-driven software development.
- Extensive experience with Go, Python, or Java, with Go strongly preferred.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and infrastructure-as-code deployments.
- Experience developing and deploying services in Kubernetes.
- Understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Bonus: experience with microservices architecture; familiarity with Apple MDM specifications and modern MDM deployments; understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID, SAML, ABAC, and related Zero Trust security protocols.
