Base Salary
$250k - $500k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own security across the company’s infrastructure, product, and operations as the first security hire.
- Track exploits, supply-chain risks, and third-party breaches; assess exposure and lead remediation.
- Manage access and credentials, including short-lived credentials and tightly controlled API keys.
- Build logging, alerting, monitoring, and detection across cloud, clusters, networks, and SaaS tools.
- Secure products, cloud infrastructure, GPU clusters, and AI-agent sandboxes.
- Own security operations including SSO, MFA, and endpoint security.
Requirements
- 5+ years of security engineering experience with hands-on ownership of cloud and infrastructure security.
- Strong software engineering skills and experience building security tooling.
- Experience running incident response and vulnerability management.
- Strong understanding of AI security, including AI-agent threat models and security applications of AI.
- Startup experience or experience building a security program from scratch is preferred.
- Experience securing ML research infrastructure or AI-agent sandboxes is preferred.
- Application or product security experience is preferred.
- Corporate security experience with SSO, MFA, and endpoint management is preferred.
