Base Salary

$149k - $224k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Review, triage, and respond to internal and external abuse reports across Core CRM and Marketing Cloud.
  • Manage security or abuse investigations through triage, evidence collection, risk assessment, containment, escalation, and closure.
  • Build and tune detection and response rules in Splunk and author and maintain automated response playbooks.
  • Partner with the Office of Ethical Usage and Legal teams on malicious-content prevention and regulatory reporting, including the EU Digital Services Act.
  • Identify anti-abuse tooling requirements for engineering teams and evaluate third-party vendor tools to address detection gaps.
  • Track digital crime, merchant fraud, and abuse of AI and agentic capabilities.
  • Write and maintain playbooks, standard operating procedures, and postmortems.
  • Contribute to platform-abuse threat modeling and participate in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • Extensive information security experience involving platform abuse, threat intelligence, incident response, or threat detection.
  • Experience managing security or abuse investigations end to end.
  • Specialization in log analysis, file-level forensics, or data mining.
  • Experience authoring detection rules using YARA or Splunk SPL and working from a command line.
  • Experience with Splunk detection engineering and SPL rule authoring is preferred.
  • Experience with threat intelligence tools or teams is preferred.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration or automation platforms such as Temporal is preferred.
  • Familiarity with evidence handling, privacy, data retention, and regulatory considerations for security investigations.
  • Understanding of cloud and SaaS security, multi-tenant platforms, identity systems, and application telemetry.
  • Experience analyzing large, complex data sets and familiarity with Git, GitHub, and the Salesforce platform, including Cases and SOQL, are preferred.
  • Ability to understand others' code, collaborate across security, engineering, product, legal, and ethical-usage teams, and participate in on-call support.
  • Customer-facing experience in Support or Sales Engineering is preferred.
