Base Salary
$146k - $277k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with AST, RTX Enterprise Services, and enterprise Digital Technology teams to align and integrate the DevSecOps ecosystem.
- Drive and manage AST’s DevSecOps development environment, tooling, process workflows, and CI/CD capabilities.
- Coach, mentor, and enable engineering teams in adopting DevSecOps tools and workflows.
- Install, configure, upgrade, patch, migrate, integrate, and maintain enterprise DevSecOps applications.
- Manage user provisioning, access management, permissions, project onboarding, troubleshooting, documentation, and technical support.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineering leadership, and development teams.
- Travel up to 25%.
Requirements
- Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience managing or supporting enterprise applications including Jira, Confluence, GitLab, CloudBees CI/Jenkins, artifact repositories, software supply chain security tools, containers, orchestration tools, and secrets-management tools.
- Experience managing and developing CI/CD pipelines and using scripting languages such as Python, Go, Groovy, Bash, or Perl.
- Experience with Linux system administration and Red Hat or compatible distributions including RHEL, Fedora, CentOS, or Rocky.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as KVM, VMware, or Hyper-V.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government Top Secret SCI security clearance with polygraph; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred experience with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, or Kibana.
- Preferred professional certifications in DevOps, DevSecOps, CI/CD, containers, orchestration, AWS, security, Linux, or GitLab.
- Preferred familiarity with Agile software development, cross-platform RHEL and Windows development, NIST SP 800-171, FIPS, DFARS/CMMC, telecommunications systems, or signal processing.
