Base Salary
$90k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with UX, product, and backend engineering teams to design and deliver secure, reliable, scalable frontend software.
- Build, maintain, configure, and modernize web applications for military exchange and government procurement workflows.
- Write code and scripts for infrastructure automation, monitoring, test automation, and destructive resiliency testing.
- Create dashboards, logging, alerting, and response processes to proactively identify and address production issues.
- Document, review, and uphold code quality, testing, performance, and change control standards.
- Participate in agile planning, software lifecycle activities, production troubleshooting, and continuous team improvement.
Requirements
- At least two years of relevant work experience, with 2–4 years preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent related experience.
- Experience with React and frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript frameworks.
- Experience with cloud computing, preferably GCP.
- Experience writing SQL queries against relational databases and working with relational or NoSQL database technologies.
- Experience with an object-oriented programming language, preferably Java.
- Experience with source code version control, CI/CD tools, and microservice-based architecture.
- Experience with debugging, root cause analysis, and unit, functional, destructive, and performance testing.
- Exposure to security frameworks for user and service authorization and authentication.
- AI prompting experience with Claude is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in the United States.
